We created this site, after receiving the autism diagnose for our 4 year old son Chase.  Although primarily used as a blog, we will occasionally float some static content and information about autism as well.  We have done lots of reading on autism, and are sure we have much more research to do, but one thing we are understanding, is that this will be a long and difficult journey, full of twists, turns, and bumpy roads.  We will have highs, and we will have lows.  Not only do we want to create a journal, of what this journey will be like, we are also inviting others to come and share their experiences, and hopefully, we can help at least one other family whom will also be faced with this difficult life challenge.

If you are part of our family, a friend, or a co-worker, hopefully you can see what we are facing with, and understand more about what this is like.  Share the joy in our accomplishments  as well as understand when things don’t go as well.  If you are someone else that happens to be faced with similar challenges, we especially would like to hear from you about your experiences.  Together we are stronger than the sum of our parts.

I (Pierre) will be the primary contributor to this blog, with my wife, Jennifer helping out from time to time.  Comments will be left open, inviting others to leave feedback, and share their experiences, as well as perhaps give out some advice.  We will make sure to read each and every comment, and respond as appropriate.
